Physical print 24x36 of The Eastsider Weekly and I’m Her, Too cool. if I have to shipped these it’s gonna be an up charge of about $65-80. (Fine art isn’t cheap to send)
I never realized how these pieces go together so well.
The East Sider Weekly - I hate when people use the term ‘troubled youth’ as if we don’t live in a country with an ongoing generational set up. It’s almost as if we believe they had a chance. The child you see is beaten, tired and crying. Yet the crown is still there. This is another one of my digital creation. And pay attention to the newspaper clippings in the back. Everything is connected.
Im Her, Too Cool - I created Im Her in the midst of trying to get better at drawing faces. She was first actually. I feel like I got into this mode of wearing sunglasses a lot. And when I say a lot I mean in bars, at night and in places where I felt like they could help shield me. I had an ex that did the same, she was so corny though and called them ‘Hater Blockers’. Essentially this piece embodies that, the blocking of haters.
